We are pleased to welcome Jason Flinn as our new permanent part-time pastor.  Jason and his wife Caroline live happily with their three children Jack, Charlie and Lily and their dog Sadie in Halifax. 

Jason is currently completing his Masters of Theology at Acadia Divinity College in Wolfville with a focus on counselling and spiritual care. Jason is also the current chaplain at Windsor Elms Village, a resident- directed care facility, where he supports spiritual and palliative care. 

Jason is an educator with over 27 years experience as a teacher, administrator, consultant and is owner of Vault Life Coaching, specializing in supporting mental and emotional resiliency.

He is a health and wellness consultant for Homewood Health as well as the host of the Still Here podcast produced by the Nova Scotia Hospice Palliative Care Association. He feels honoured to be at First Baptist Church Hammonds Plains.
